Hullo, writing people. As others are doing it, now seems like a good time to introduce myself.

I'm Katie, although I write under the penname amethyst_j/Amethyst. I'm very, very much H/Hr, if you couldn't tell, but I'm open to pretty much anything and everything that doesn't interfere with that, and I can be persuaded to break ship when the mood strikes me.

I write for fanfict00bs with bingblot and goldy_dollar. We post a new fic every Monday (and we're looking for a new writer if anyone's interested; you don't have to ship H/Hr to be a part of it).

I'm a complete grammar nerd and open to beta-ing if anyone needs. If you want references, I've beta-ed for goldy_dollar, fiiishy, kneazles, nardaviel, and airiviel...and others, but my memory's failing me.

My fandoms are Harry Potter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Anita Blake, mainly. I adore crossovers and admit to being completely unable to write anything that isn't angsty. Fluff causes me indigestion.

Well, since this is the first post in the community, I thought I might want to introduce myself, and the community. My name is Tyler, and I started this whole thing.
theinkwells was a little idea of mine that's been itching in the back of my head for practically ever, and now that it's finially coming to fruition, I'm pretty glad. :)
Anyways, you're probably wondering--"What the hell are The Inkwells?"
Well. The Inkwells is a place where Harry Potter fanfiction writers can come to discuss plot bunnies, post fanfiction, give (and ask for!) ideas, et cetera. I know that there are countless Potter fanfiction communities out there, but I've yet to see one that allows posting about ideas, plot bunnies, et cetera.
This is my small contribution to the Potterverse.

I greatly encourage you to friend it, because by doing so, you will be encouraging me, and any of the other members to write. (Believe it or not, most of us do need encouragement, by the way!) :D

So, now that you've read the post, why don't you go ahead and join? :)
