About this Community Welcome to Vanilla Charm - a Harry Potter Fandom Community This community is all about discussing, writing, and supporting het and gen Harry Potter fics - meaning no hardcore smut and no slash. But not just ANY shipfic! Oh, no! Pick one character from the books and write the shipfic that he or she would write. Suppose Hermione secretly thinks Snape and Trelawney would both be a lot more bearable if they just hooked up? Afterall Harry has Hedwig, Hermione has Crookshanks and Ron has Scabbers Pigwidgeon. Your task is to write a fic about picking out an animal for your very first year at Hogwarts; or at the very least how you came to have the animal. Remember: students are allowed to bring an owl OR a cat OR a toad. You may write from the perspective of an already created character or you may create your own, just so long as you follow cannon. Phoenix Rising: A Harry Potter RPG... One Shot Fic - Without Words [30 October 2005|05:40pm] jesspallas [ mood | drained ] Despite the fact I'm supposed to be working on an epic novel length Remus fic at the moment, I've just been viciously assaulted by a rabid plot bunny of Monty Pythonesque proportions. Or given the time of year (and Wallace and Gromit obviously) it could have been a were-plot-bunny I guess. ;) The attack was cruel and unprovoked and prompted me to write a two page RL/NT one shot on the spot. Since I have a headache anyway, it's probably a pile of pants but it's written now so *shrugs* I may as well post it. That git of a bunny...;) This came out of reading a review for my long fic "Imperius" that praised Remus and Tonks' bantering. And it got me thinking - does banter need to be verbal if you know someone well enough? And then this happened.
