Honks. By far my favorite pairing, and honestly, the only HP Fanfiction I will read. But I have read ever single story I have gotten my hands on with even IMPLIED Honks... over 400 fics. I'm saddend by the lack of Honks these days.... I hated the Half blood prince and Deathly Hallows, So I usually read fiction that was written before their release or that ignores them altogether.
Well, I'm tired of waiting for more honks, so I am taking it upon myself to write a couple novels worth of Happy Honks action. It wont be smut, and in a rare showing, there will be very little angst. the whole thing will go back to the way the harry potter series was before Order of the Phoenix. I have over 100 chapters outlined, covering nearly 10 years of story. I plan for this to be my Magnum Opis, even more so than the fantasy parody novel that I am writing Professionally. So expect to be dazzled. and of course, suggestions are welcome. So without further posturing and yammering, here is the fic! : Harry Potter and the Truth of Prophesy
Summary: A Realistic Harry/Tonks, With a twist. What is a Prophesy, moreover, Is Trelawny's the only one? Follow the adventures of Harry Potter from the end of 5th year and beyond. And follow the Heart Of "Nymmy" Tonks From the time of Lily and James till the end.

Hey ya'll! I'm..kinda new here. Been lurking around and reading some of the storys you guys have linked. Figured I'm make an account and link you one I found a little while ago.
The writer has been inactive for one reason or another, but I checked it last night and he's posted that he is writing again and to expect a new chapter within a few days.
So without further ado...I give you; Harry Potter and the Awakening Powers by Honks-FTW.
Here the info on the story.
Harry's back at the Dursley's until year 6 at Hogwarts starts. Unknown to Harry Tonks has been put on guard duty by Dumbledore. What's Voldemort up to? How will Dumbledore handle Harry's new attitude? What's Harry's new power? HP/NT M for violence. CH7 UP Harry Potter - Fiction Rated: M - English - General/Romance - Chapters: 7 - Words: 42,576 - Reviews: 193 On the whole it's not a bad read. He admits that it could be better but this is his first journey into writing so personally I'm cutting him some slack. It's getting better the more he writes. After reading through he says the story seems kinda rushed but he's now trying to pace it out.
Anyway, it's worth a read and I for one hope he keeps at it.

The boy who lived apparently got his groove on for the first time at 16, and with someone he says is, Radcliffe insists the age difference "wasn't ridiculous," but "it would freak some people out."

It's a one-shot, not very long, and there's not much HONKS action, but enough to suffice. It's DH compliant, so I'll let you work that one out on your own. I don't know if it's been done, but I haven't seen it done, so there is that.. Hope you guys enjoy!
EDIT: Due to both reviews and the desire to continue the story, it's no longer a one-shot, but I can't promise updates will be often, as my life is often busy. But, either way, I can promise that I will do my best to see the story through to its end, whatever that end might be.

Hi I'm sorry if this isn't appropriate. I discovered this community a couple of days ago in my search for a particular HONKS fic. I've been all through the pages looking for it, I hoped it had been posted here. Alas I can't find it so I have to ask for help as it's really bugging me. I read it a couple of months back thought I'd bookmarked it and now can't find it.
Basically Harry and Tonks have to get married to stop the Black fortune from falling into the hands of the Malfoy's and Voldemort. Rather than telling Harry and Tonks about this Dumbledore announces it somehow and Harry ignoring the fact he's meant to stay at Privet Drive flies his broom to Tonks apartment and then to Hogwarts. There's something about how Tonks and friends promised not to fall for the boy who lived or something while she's getting ready to be married. I think there also might have been something about how Tonks loses her morphing abilities unless Harry says something. Not sure about that.
Anyway, for some reason it won't leave me alone and I have to read it again. So if anyone knows what I'm talking about please post a link.

currently updating about 1 chapter a day, though that may become every couple of days somewhere along the line.
