So, I meant to post this last night, but I was tired, and stupidly posted it to my own journal, then went to bed.

Concierge: *hides*
Minerva: PORTER! Take my bag up to my room, and if I find you've tampered with it at all, I'll turn you into a turnip.
Porter: *takes bag and sets off at a run for the lifts*
Manager: Uh, Miss McGonagall...I'm afraid we've not got any rooms to spare at the moment...
Minerva: Nonsense! I always stay here at this time of year. Of course you have a room. And, it's Professor McGonagall.
Manager: Well, the thing is...after the incident last time, you're no longer welcome in this hotel. Tom still hasn't recovered.
Minerva: What?! That was character-building! Besides, I'm sure it taught him not to put too much ice in a Pina Colada.
Manager: He hasn't been able to make a Pina Colada since. In fact, the sight of a bar makes him shake like a leaf.
Minerva: Foolishness. He's clearly a weak character.
Manager: I'm going to have to ask you to leave.
Minerva: Nonsense! You'll do no such thing. *goes to Reception desk and pulls quivering Concierge from his hiding place* Book me into my usual room, or what I did to Tom will seem like a walk in the park.
Concierge: *squeaks* Ye-es, Professor McGonagall.
Manager: *shakes head* I'm too old for this. *goes to write resignation letter*
Minerva: *smirks* See? I always get what I want. I'm not sure why people bother to argue with me. |
