After having become a regular visitor at thefanlistings.org I noticed that there was no fanlisting for the unconventional fanfiction in the Harry Potter fandom. Being a rabid fan of anything unconventional I decided to rectify the situation.
There are the usual pairings in fanfiction. The Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny type pairings in the fandom. These pairings have a greater following and are considered to be common. Then there's those pairings that set people's teeth on edge. The incest and the strange pairings that only a certain few read about. Some of these pairings are more "conventional" than others and have more fan fiction written about them. Harry/Snape certainly has a greater following than Narcissa/Draco. Still, some of the fandom wouldn't touch these stories with a ten foot pole.
I wanted to bring these unconventional pairing fanfictions to the forefront. Bring together fans of these fanfictions. I certainly wonder if there is more Narcissa/Bellatrix fanfiction out there or is there only me?
Here is a place where fans of the unconventional can show their love for unconventional fanfiction in the Harry Potter fandom. Don't be afraid to admit that you really love Ron/Snape or Hermione/Luna stories. ;) I do.
